Q. What should you do if something is wrong with your instrument?
A. Bring it to Mrs. Sly
Occasionally a student will find that his or her instrument is not working properly. If this should happen to your child, he or she should take the instrument to me. Most of the time I can easily fix the problem.
Occasionally, instruments are beyond my ability to repair and need to be sent to the repair shop. If you own your own musical instrument you can take it to the repair shop of your choice. If your child is borrowing an instrument, I will make arrangements for repair.
It is important that instrument repair is left to the professionals! Musical instruments are very delicate and must be handled with care. Attempting to repair an instrument on your own without the proper training may result in more damage, for which you may be held financially responsible.
Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions regarding instrumental repair.
